arvie lowe, jr

At 8 yrs old, Arvie (R.V.) started out as a hot street dancer.  Grooving on the streets of L.A. in front of some of the more popular liquor stores with his buddies.  He attended a birthday party at a dance studio Regina’s school of the performing arts; witch unassumingly landed him an agent when the owner, Regina Williams, saw him dance.  This started his professional career, honing his skills at Regina’s in all area’s of performance mainly Hip-Hop.  His 12th birthday was spent on the road as a dancer for REEBOK International, performing in mostly foreign countries for months at a time.  When he got back, Arvie landed one of the most important auditions in his life.  In a Live action DISNEY MOVIE MUSICAL entitled “Newsies” starring Christian Bale (American Psycho, Batman Begins).  A story about the newsboy’s strike of New York in 1899.

From then on, Live performances with Regina’s “brat pack” dance company and a guest starring role on the short lived sitcom “THEA” (Thea Vidale, Brandy Norwood) seemed to be Arvie’s bread and butter, until his mother, Maxcine Lowe who was a Mentor Teacher at Bethune Junior High in South Central L.A. passed away when he was only 15.  Arvie contemplated leaving the business but knew he wouldn’t be happy.  After “THEA” called him in to work not less than 2 weeks after his mom’s passing, he knew what was in store for him.

Now, with a new sense of empowerment, Arvie worked, worked, and worked.  Appearing as “ERNIE” on the hit series “Sister, Sister” (Tia & Tamera Mowery), “Dion” on the show “Smart Guy” (Taj Mowery, Jason Weaver) all while touring with famed R&B act “immature”, “Brownstone”, and “MC LYTE”, plus countless commercials for such conglomerates as  “NIKE”,  “Coca Cola”, “MOUNTAIN DEW” and “McDonalds”.    A short dance role on “The Steve Harvey Show” was where he formally met his match, Terence Washington.  The 2 short black guys set out on a mission to rule the entertainment industry with they’re brand of energetic song and dance as a RAP/SING duo called “poppiceeds”.
Arvie and Terence’s partnership resulted in an entertainment company called “Glitch Inc”.
Knowing very little about the music industry, Arvie sank a bunch of his own money into buying a home based recording studio.  That’s when he got really broke because he didn’t know how to use it, well!  They did everything to try and break into the business, wrote scripts, filmed spec commercials, choreographed acts.  As a duo, they were unstoppable, but could hardly be taken seriously with no solid projects under they’re belt, which frustrated them.
In his early 20’s, Arvie landed a role as “Mr. Digs” on a popular Disney Channel show called “Lizzie McGuire” (Hilary Duff) where he played Lizzie’s zany substitute teacher for a season and a half.  The poppiceeds, project just didn’t blow up like they thought it would, but they didn’t give up.  They found a producer they knew, worked with him, and the poppiceeds sounds got heavier and more creative than before.  Pulling together folks they thought FELT good playing for the project acted as a ping-pong affect in forming the band known today as  “RAYZING SONS”.  Rayzing Sons is an L.A. 6 piece rock powerhouse that can’t be stopped.   In the short 4 years, the band has performed in every legendary venue on the Sunset strip, toured “Freeze Magazine’s” ski movie 3 release all across the east coast, played Warped Tour 03’, filmed 3 national commercials for “Titlist”, Florida Citrus Orange Juice”, and “Cox Communications”, and just recently landed a music placement on the major motion picture DVD commercial release of Universal Pictures “DOOM” movie starring THE ROCK.  Everyone in the band, just fit in right!!  Arvie’s work finally paid off, now let’s see if he can get to an even higher level.

Now, Arvie has found a new vice in Voice Talent.  He is represented by International Creative Management (I.C.M – Beverly Hills) and just recently landed the role of “SODA” a wise cracking ninja in a jungle of apes in the animated series “Ace Bogart” from RUGRATS creators Klasky Csupo.

Arvie and Terence’s Glitch, Inc is now merging with Jameela Hammonds Promotion Company to form Hartecor Industries.  Which will be the premier production company for the new millennium, dealing in PR, marketing, and production.
